    They live on the moon.
The orange spotty alien zoomed out of his egg and shouted “I’m going to another planet !”.
Mum and dad alien screamed “Make sure your safe”.
“You go first baby alien” dad alien screeched “We’ll go second, we don’t want people to see us from earth”.
When the alien family landed on the next planet Mum alien whispered “we’ll stay here for the next 12 hours “.
Now they are on the new planet safe and sound.

    • What a superb version of the poem Abigail. You’ve chosen some great verbs to change the original. Brilliant alien conversation and well done for not using said.

  10. Amazing writing Esther. You have used much better vocabulary in your poem and your alien conversation is super. Lots of different words for said and well done for using question marks and a conjunction.

The prince and the princess was going to sea
    in a beautiful pink carriage,
They bought some ice cream and some magical wands,
    along with their fishing rod!
The prince watched the stars above in the sky,
whilst eating ice cream with warm apple pie!
The prince played the flute and the princess danced along,
and they both joined in singing their favourite song!
