Well done to the Tawny owls who were the overall winners at sports day. All teams were amazing with regards to sportsmanship and behaviour, but on the day but they were just “pipped to the post”
Well done to all of Key Stage 1 who took part in sports day. We all had lots of fun and even the sun came out to play!
This morning, a weird and wonderful discovery was made in our school grounds. Police were contacted and the scene was cordoned off as a precaution. The children on arrival at school have been very excited by their findings and plan to carry out further investigations this week. Any suggestions what this could be, or any sightings over the weekend we would love to hear about.
Red Nose Day 2015 – Make your face funny for money!
Red Nose Day is back on Friday 13th March and once again, the nation is gearing up to put on their Noses, pull out all the stops, and get fundraising.
However , we have been ‘hand-picked’ to take part in a media event to promote the official day. This means we will celebrate red nose day a month early on Friday 13th February. During that day official photographers will be in school to take pictures of our fundraising activites and thesewill be used to promote ‘Red Nose Day’. As always, we hope to raise a record amount of money for a very worthy cause and we want to have lots of fun whilst we are doing it!! A letter has been sent home with your child outlining our activies and theme for the day.
Whether it’s at work, at school or at home, the money raised for Red Nose Day is spent by Comic Relief to transform the lives of millions of people, both at home in the UK and across Africa
We have lots of fun activities planned for our children, you can help by learning the official song for this years Red Nose Day. Keep an eye on the blog for more updates.
