Thank you so much to all of you who have created rainbows this week. Some of you made rainbow bunting in school, some of you wrote to the NHS staff thanking them for their hard work and bravery on rainbow paper and some of you  made rainbows at home and posted them on the blog. Thank you for making us all smile!

Our local cluster of schools have joined in with the theme. Together, we will get through this. Here are just a few of our school rainbows. Here’s to hope and joy and more sunshine 🙂

Well done everyone for being so engaged with your learning while at home. You really have blown all the staff away with your posts and your positive attitudes to your tasks.

While you are off it’s also important to continue look after yourself physically, mentally and emotionally. Remember all the things in school you do to help you if you feel worried or upset.

Stay active. Exercise is so important for your physical wellbeing. As well as being fun it also keeps you healthy and improves your mental and emotional wellbeing too.

Check out Lyla in Year 3 who has made some amazing home workout videos for her class mates. She certainly displays amazing positivity while looking after her wellbeing and also encouraging others to do the same. She could rival Joe Wicks as the next YouTube sensation.

Join in with her by clicking the link below.

If you have any great examples of how to look after your wellbeing while at home then post your comments and we can share them with the whole school family.

Aim high, together we will fly.

Keep blogging!

Lostock Primary School – you are amazing!

We are half way through our first ever week of online learning and you are smashing it! I’ve read your blogs, seen your work, photographs etc and I am so incredibly impressed and so so proud.

A big shout out to all our wonderful mums and dads who are helping us with our learning. I’ve been reading about an online group violin lesson! Well done, mum!

Our super teachers will continue to set you work and are here to help as much as they can. If you need us, just ask!

Aim High, Together We Will Fly!

Mrs Guest

Welcome to your online learning sessions!

We were so sad to say ‘goodbye’ on Friday and you were so brilliant, resilient and positive – just as we knew you would be. Our wonderful Lostock pupils…

We promised we would keep in touch and continue to help you with your learning and here we are! Check out your class blogs for your daily tasks. Your work will be published, so you have a REAL audience 🙂

We are working with our cluster schools to create rainbows in and around school to bring out the joy and happiness that we know is out there and we KNOW more is on the way. On Friday, we will be sharing these online. If you would like to join in, why don’t you create your own rainbow this week, take a photograph of it, pop it in your window, then post the photograph on the blog on Friday at midday for everyone to see?

Enjoy your learning, stay at home, wash your hands and we will see you soon!
