We hope that you had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine in your gardens and during your daily exercise.
Our teachers have planned lots of activities that you can choose to do this week – I hope you enjoy them!
Most importantly, enjoy this time with your family. Perhaps you could make a scrap book or write a diary of this time so that you can remember all your favourite memories forever…
At school, we are planning to use some of your work, photographs and comments to create some fabulous rainbow displays for when you return. The titles will include: We are hopeful… We are proud… We are thankful… We are family…
We will let you know how you can help contribute to these displays over the next few weeks.
Have a wonderful week. We are always here for you.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter break.
We have really missed you, so I’m thrilled to see you back online and enjoying your learning. Our teachers are setting lots of super work for you to try, but remember, your health and happiness is what is most important to us. Whether you complete all work set, or just have a little try at a few tasks across the week, we are really proud of you! Get blogging and keep in touch…
Thank you all for an incredible week. Enjoy your Easter break and we will blog again from Tuesday 14th April. I have emailed a letter to all parents, which can be found on the website under Parents/Carers – Coronavirus Updates – Letters. Stay safe and keep smiling 🙂
Thank you so much to all of you who have created rainbows this week. Some of you made rainbow bunting in school, some of you wrote to the NHS staff thanking them for their hard work and bravery on rainbow paper and some of you made rainbows at home and posted them on the blog. Thank you for making us all smile!
Our local cluster of schools have joined in with the theme. Together, we will get through this. Here are just a few of our school rainbows. Here’s to hope and joy and more sunshine 🙂
Lostock Primary School – you are amazing!
We are half way through our first ever week of online learning and you are smashing it! I’ve read your blogs, seen your work, photographs etc and I am so incredibly impressed and so so proud.
A big shout out to all our wonderful mums and dads who are helping us with our learning. I’ve been reading about an online group violin lesson! Well done, mum!
Our super teachers will continue to set you work and are here to help as much as they can. If you need us, just ask!
Aim High, Together We Will Fly!
We were so sad to say ‘goodbye’ on Friday and you were so brilliant, resilient and positive – just as we knew you would be. Our wonderful Lostock pupils…
We promised we would keep in touch and continue to help you with your learning and here we are! Check out your class blogs for your daily tasks. Your work will be published, so you have a REAL audience 🙂
We are working with our cluster schools to create rainbows in and around school to bring out the joy and happiness that we know is out there and we KNOW more is on the way. On Friday, we will be sharing these online. If you would like to join in, why don’t you create your own rainbow this week, take a photograph of it, pop it in your window, then post the photograph on the blog on Friday at midday for everyone to see?
Enjoy your learning, stay at home, wash your hands and we will see you soon!
